The City of Homestead owns about five acres at 4 and 100 South Krome Avenue and partners with Axiom Construction, which closes a $13.7 million construction loan from National Bank of Florida in April 2018. The seven story garage with about 1,200 parking spaces according to the builder, a ShowBiz Cinemas with ten screens and bowling, and about 30,000 square feet of retail open in October 2019 and the garage serves the city park and ride. The Cybrarium is added beside it in 2021.
