Houston based i3 Interests submits an unsolicited $72 million proposal in 2018 to rebuild about 4.6 acres around Village Hall at 9705 East Hibiscus Street with a theatre, expanded hall, hotel, garage, senior housing and retail. The council creates a negotiating task force on 15 July 2019, i3 withdraws on 7 October 2019 and the council turns to NAI Miami's $14 million plan for a 270 space garage with about 40 senior apartments on 4 November 2019. By April 2021 the village reports no further word from NAI Miami.
Detail: about 4.6 acres; $72 million (i3) then $14 million (NAI)
