Route 38 Busway MAX is the express service on the busway from its 1997 opening, running from Dadeland South to Cutler Ridge and later Florida City. In 2002 it averages about 3,455 weekday boardings, alongside Busway Local (routes 31 and 231), Coral Reef MAX (252) and Saga Bay MAX (287).
