Bill Sadowski Park is a 30 acre county preserve near Palmetto Bay with pineland, tropical hardwood hammock and a drained Everglades slough, limestone solution holes and arches, a native tree arboretum and bird watching. It is named for William E. Sadowski, a state legislator from 1976 to 1982 and Secretary of Community Affairs who dies in a 1992 plane crash. The county page gives no opening year.
