Miami-Dade County opens the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center at 10950 SW 211th Street in 2011 with a 961 seat main theatre, run by the county Department of Cultural Affairs. The county renames it the Dennis C. Moss Cultural Arts Center on 22 October 2022 for the District 9 commissioner who championed it.
