Brothers Russell and Ray Knaus open a roadside strawberry stand in 1956 and settle at 15980 SW 248th Street in 1959, where the family bakery becomes known for its cinnamon rolls and milkshakes; the brothers retire in 1990. In August 2025 new owners Joel White and Sunil Bhatt with local investors take over the business and move it to 16790 SW 177th Avenue on Sam S. Accursio and Sons Farms land near Krome Avenue. The new site is reported to open at the end of November 2025; the farm operates seasonally from autumn to spring.
