Raymond and Carrie Burr settle the farm in 1916 and their son Charles Burr turns it to strawberries in the 1960s, selling fresh fruit milkshakes from a stand at 12741 SW 216th Street. Charles Burr Sr. campaigns to keep Redland farmland in agriculture until his death in 2001. Review sites list the stand as closed in 2025 and 2026; no press notice of closure is found.
