Joseph DuMond opens Monkey Jungle in 1933 on 30 acres of Redland hammock where visitors walk in caged paths while the monkeys roam free. It is one of the Redland's earliest roadside attractions and a stop on the Historic Redland Tropical Trail. Hurricane Irma damages the site in 2017.
