The Silver Palm Schoolhouse is built in 1904 at Silver Palm Drive and Newton Road, becomes private property in 1919 and later serves as a boarding house and day care. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987 and anchors the Silver Palm Historic District with the 1911 William Anderson store.
