The South Florida Regional Planning Council coordinates the South Miami-Dade Watershed Study with a technical review committee meeting from 2003, using population and development projections to 2050 to test land use scenarios for the area south of Kendall. The county reviews its findings in the 2007 CDMP planning cycle and the study is archived by 2008.
