Architect Harold Hastings Mundy designs the two storey town hall built in 1917 by contractor John F. Umphrey for 4,418 dollars, with police, fire and jail below and offices above. The city moves to a new hall in 1975 and the old building reopens as a museum in 1994 after a community campaign stops its demolition.
